The Chickpea plant is a one-year plant and a short bush of the legume family, whose height reaches about 30 cm. Its branches are thin, its tiny leaves consist of 13 to 17 small, toothed leaflets, and its flowers are white with purple veins or shapes. Usually one to three peas are formed in each pea pod.
