Walnuts are the fruit of trees of the Juglans family (Juglandaceae family). Iranian or English walnut known as Juglans regia.

Walnut is a seeded, round, single-seeded fruit from the walnut tree and is usually used after it is fully ripe. After the fruit is fully ripe and its green skin is removed, the wrinkled wooden skin of the walnut can be seen. The shell of a walnut is usually two pieces.
